Wal Mart had the Rat 1 for sale at 23 dollars not too long ago. I had to try one. Love it.

I wore it clipped in my pocket of my swim shorts for 8 hours while at Holiday world. I was in the water for 5 hours of the day. No rust. I didn't even dry it off good until the end of the day before we left.

Dang it! I can't stop looking at that site. I'm seriously thinking of custom ordering my first buck knife.

I don't have a a full-on custom, but I did get a BG-42 blade swap done on a regular 110 back when they used to offer that service. That was a very well made knife with a BG-42 blade for under $100 total.

You can get the USA made Kershaw link for around $27, with nylon scales.

In my opinion way more knife than the RAT for only $2.00 more.

The blur is a great knife. I've had one for many years and used to carry it quite a bit. As dean reccomended though, check out the spyderco tenacious. I think you could pick one up for around $45. I got one for my father for a gift. Great knife for the :: Spyderco ::

thanks, that looks like a good blade. Im new to knifes. is there a local place that carries them for handling it?
