    Ive had excellent accuracy from factory
    243 rigs. Well, by excellent I mean half inch at 100. Not BR type stuff but good enough for chuckin.

    I still have 1 box of 70gr BTs in reserve.

    If i rebarrel the #1 itll be in .243 and set up strictly as a varmint rig
    Mine amazed me. Stunning accuracy for me. I've never shot like my No. 1 lets me before.

    My old one loved 75gr Speer HP on 4895. Would cloverleaf. But I got it used as a kid and over time it opened a bit ( throat erosion ). Didnt have the money back then to rebarrel.

    My 70gr Nosler BT loads have been great in five diff Remingtons.

    Add: I did bed and free float some of my factory bolt rifles. My Model 7 had an HS stock
