Story reminds me of the whole Red Jacket ZK-22 crap. In short RJ took thousands of orders for their 10//22 bullpup conversion and shipped out very few. Years have passed and they continue to claim that they will ship in a couple months. If you request a refund/cancellation of your order they charge you a restocking fee even though they are not "restocking" something that they never had in the first place. Now the company has been renamed and they are no longer orders for the conversion but are making a waiting list for new orders. The claim that they will fill all the orders that were placed with RJ as soon as possible.

    $4,300 for a pistol?

That part is not unusual for a high end custom pistol. It is a lot, and hard to justify unless you are really finicky about what you want, but there are a lot of folks making custom guns in that price range and I think that has been true for quite a long while. I think even with the more household names like Springfield and Smith & Wesson you can get into those kind of numbers when you are looking at their custom shop stuff.

Big money for no pistol is the part that really blows.

Interesting, had not heard of that one. That makes three persons or groups I know about who got into the promise it but do not sell it business.

RJ was a joke. Friend had to have one of their Siaga customs. Waited forever.........Total POS when he did finally get it.

I'm glad I saw their TV show before I saw any of their guns for sale. About 2 episodes of their show was enough to teach me A) I don't want to watch their show anymore, and 2) I don't want to buy their guns, either.

It took me a whole 15 minutes of the first episode to figure out what they were all about.

    .
In the end it's an old scam. Take in a lot of orders for a moderatly priced but popular item. Make sure the individual amount of cash is smaller than what people could hire a lawyer for. Keep the orders spread out amongst a lot of single individuals. Pocket the money and declare bankruptcy if required.

Red Jacket? It's TV, children. It is neither real nor reality. Never was, never will be what they pretend. As for "Predator Tactical"..... Never heard of them before today but my spidey receptors tell me, just by the name, they are/were using hype to sell whatever they're marketing. A "Shrike" from "Predator Tactical"? Those words only work in a game of Scrabble, far as I can see.
