    Today is the 238th anniversary of the Battles of Concord an Lexington, where groups of average British subjects stood their ground and resisted government soldiers bent on disarming them. That was the day that "the shot heard 'round the world" ignited the powder keg, and those subjects became citizens.
    Now we just need to keep the faith with those brave men and continue to resist the tyrants that are still bent on disarming us.

    IMHO, all Americans should go back periodically and read the history of the colonies from about 1763 through ratification of the Constitution as a reminder of the courage and wisdom of the people and the founding fathers.
