After the kill, the hunter dumped Bigfoot's body into the ocean. He promises that he really got 'em though.

Also, the hunter used a portable DNA analyzer on Bigfoot while he was kayaking home, and confirmed that it was definitely a new species. He figured an independent analysis wasn't necessary. That evidence is in the ocean along with the photos.

So lets lay this to rest finally, shall we...
