Has anyone else seen Bloombergs joke of a commercial yet? Just saw it run on one of Ft. Waynes stations. It has a stereotypical 'hick' sitting on a truck tailgate spewing fourth their diatribe while holding a shotgun. I saw at least four issues with "our brother" representing us in the commercial. See if you all notice any problems. First hint....notice the trigger finger. Sad thing is, the ignorant and uninformed public will eat this up. Also, notice how quickly the credit is given at the bottom...most people won't even notice it.

I've been off this week and I've seen it several times on the Indy stations. I believe, as I posted in another thread about this, these commercials are not aimed at the average INGO poster. In my honest opinion, if you're like way too many gun owners--the ones we've all talked to that are OK with "high cap" magazine bans since they don't need them to hunt deer with--these commercials will be a call to action.

Just saw Fox 59 Indianapolis just did a piece on the commercial and also stated that 96% of the population support bacxw
background checks. They also talked about people licenseing their firearms with the police. Something about doing it online now and also talked about fingerprints.

I don't know what happened that caused my split post. I think these commercials are trouble. We better bury our reps with emails and calls to make sure they understand that they better not support any more gun anti-gun legislation. No compromise!

The version I saw of this ad, on one of the other threads about this, the guy's trigger finger was clearly behind the trigger guard. I saw another version on Youtube that showed the guy with his trigger finger AROUND the bottom of the trigger guard. Who knows how many versions there are but the 2 I saw didn't have a finger on the trigger. The commercial still had a very high school production quality. You'd think with Bloomberg's money, he'd want a better product.

I was surprised to hear the ad run on on WIBC during the Greg Garrison show... Seemed out of place for that audience, but I guess they accepted the bloomberg cash for the ad spot. Funny to hear him talking about supporting the 2nd amendment then going to break and hearing the bloomberg out of state cash trying to influence Indiana residents....

I read something about this in Purdue's Exponent, I'm pretty sure that they are talking about the LTCH application converting to strictly digital, meaning you have to do it online and they will only accept digital fingerprint scans. That is how I understood it but then again I could be wrong.

It's full speed ahead for the brain-washing media machine again. I also saw the Coats commercial twice this morning asking viewers to vote to support the universal background check so undesirables can't get guns. Yahoo has been flooding their home page with anti-gun articles and bogus poll results that show 8 out of every 10 americans want stricter gun control. While many know that these are not accurate, mis-leading ads, there are also many that believe everything they see and read.

Right or wrong the general concensus from normal Joe's I talk to they are not againset background checks. (My problem with the background check issue is what THEY say is a disqualifier and what I say is a disqualifier are a lot difference. I mean if some one gets marrage counceling on the list?)

With that being said, The thing that gets me is how Bloomberg became a billionaire. I mean he is spending 12 million to promote someting he wants that they claim most people are for?????
