I'm glad he cut off talks. Continuing those talks gave Reid cover to say that the Senate didn't need to take the CCB bill seriously.

I have to agree, unfortunately, this seems to be the same sad sad song....just to a different beat. Chances are there will be mass compromise or a back room deal. OR..... maybe we might see them fail to pass anything.

Win. Its all about coming off in a positive light to your base. A deal is being sculpted to make both sides appear as the winner. The 8/2 date is arbitrary. I wish taxpayers had a strong lobby.
