I'm slowly wanting to gear up to reloading. My first step is cleaning all the brass I have. I would like to keep the price at or under $100 if possible. The calibers that I am going to be working with are .308, .45, .223, 9mm. I don't know how capacities are but something that could handle 300 rounds of 9mm at a time would be a plus. Also 110volt is all I have available and plenty of garage space. What brands / styles should I be looking at?

Lyman Turbo 2500 Pro Mag Case Tumbler 110 Volt

    or

Lyman Turbo 1200 PRO Sifter Case Tumbler 110 Volt

I use the 1200 and for me it does just fine. I also only run a single stage press, so I'm not doing 1,000 rounds at a time. It all depends on how much you want to spend and how many cases you want done at a time.

You can use corn cob media if your brass isn't tarnished, or walnut media if your brass is tarnished. Walnut will leave a red residue behind, but does a great job at cleaning the cases.
