I picked up a can of this stuff after eying it at Wal-Mart for a few weeks. I've only cleaned my gun 3 times so far, but the third time was SO much better than the first two due to this miracle product. My only concern is that it may damage the polymer frame on my Walther PPS.
I've googled the subject and seen many comments ranging from "I've use it on my Glock/XD/... for XX years and have had no problems" to "It will melt your gun into a puddle of black tar". My one-time use has had no ill-effects thus far, but I know things can be different in the long-term.
Is there a "safe" way to use this product on polymer guns? If I spray CLP everywhere I put the Powder Blast, will this negate any negative effects? This product cut my time down from 1-2 hours (n00bie here ) to 30 minutes. I know there is a similar product that is safe for polymers, but the local wal-mart doesn't carry that for $4.00 for a 12oz can.
