Last I heard they were being sent out to various LEO organizations for trial and evaluation. I don't think they are being offered for sale to Johnny Public yet.

I did hear they are aiming for a 4Q launch of this year. Gotta get the holiday rush in, ya know?

This is the e-mail I received from Kel-Tec. So I preordered one.

    Hi Lee,

We’re hoping to have the release date set on it by the end of the year. You should be able to put in a preorder for it now with your dealer though.

    Thanks,
    Kel-Tec

Midwest Gun Excahnge has a Kel-Tec in there shop, it is not for sale, it's a demo but you can finger it, and I can tell you it is very sweet. The guys at Midwest plan to take it to the next machinegun shoot and attempt to cut a car in half with it. They are making a list of buyers if you want one, (I'm on the list). They hope to have them in the shop for sale in about a year.

Dribbling into the stream of commerce.

Louis Awerbuck actually spoke positively of them in August when I attended his shotgun class.

It is great to see a video of the gun!

At 1:56 you see exactly what I expected in terms of gun runs dry and you see Louis cycle the gun multiple times and futz with the mag selector. That can be overcome with practice. Still, If you lose count of your shots, that exact situation is going to happen every time.

Both shooters also show why I never have and never will use a VG with a pump, slow and clunky. Keep it simple, maybe polish the action.

When all is said and done logic says compare it to a Saiga with a 20 rd drum and see which one wins. In an Non-SBS State like Indiana, it may be a hot ticket.
