So I come home today to find a pile of bunny guts on my front porch. Looked like the pile a hunter makes when he field cleans a deer, but also had a bit of fluff of the tail left behind.

I am guessing one of the three neighborhood tom cats got a good dinner.

What is strange is that the cat left a present on the porch for me.

    Go figure.

Anyone see a cat do something like this before?

Just a pile of innards and a touch of tale. In small pile. Nothing more, no drag trail.

That makes even more sense. It was right under an overhang. It was all intestines and stuff and not at all digested. Wonder if there is more bunny on the overhang which is right outside my daughter's window.

Oh, man, no way that could go horribly wrong when she opens the window in the morning...

    A holler in Kentucky
I had a Beagle that used to catch birds, squirrels, rabbits, even snakes, and would eat most of his catch, but leave parts laying on the porch. He would leave beaks and feet of birds, and the guts of rabbits and squirrels, sometimes maybe an ear, but there would be no bones or fur or feathers left. He was one weird dog, maybe that's what you have there, a weird dog.:dunno:
