Burnout canoe making technique.

My cousin is doing a series of videos where he is making a burnout canoe. He doesn't have the videos anywhere but Facebook as of now and I don't know what his privacy settings are so post up if you are not able to see the videos.

See the OP, on Facebook. Just kidding. He is a park guide at Russell Cave Natnl Monument in Alabama. It is my understanding he is doing it on the property there.

He is mostly posting short video clips which I cannot figure out how to transfer to here. Here are some of the latest pics.
Apparently the log is fresh cut by design. Working by himself (I think before and after work) he says it is likely to take a month.

The video's are pretty good. He talks about the problems he comes across and how he is dealing with them. I'm curious if any of you are able to see the video's from his FB feed in the link in the OP?

Ohh, that kind of burnout canoe making technique. I was going to guess it involved pizza breaks and multiple uses of the word "dude."
