Does anyone know if the flash hider on a CAA Micro Roni Gen 4 is removable? I've tried a little bit but it was pretty tight and I didn't want to break it. If it is I'd like to put a suppressor on it. Thanks for any help.

The only roni kits I've seen with silencers have been heavily modified in order for the silencer to fit. flash hider/end cap removed & bigger holes cut out of the front...

You have to split the halves of the chassis in two by removing all the screws. Start with the ones in/through the rail on the top. There are probably a screw here and there going through from the L to R or vice versa.

Once you do that, you can remove the flash hider.

Note: On my formerly-owned Roni (I'm not even sure now what model it was - but not current gen) - I couldn't get it to work with a suppressed G17 even after I installed a G17L barrel. If I were willing to hog out some material from the chassis, I could've gotten it to work. I wasn't willing to resort to those destructive measures.

    Good luck!

Guess my next question would be, does anyone know of a machine shop in the Ft Wayne or northern Indiana area that would mill it down?
