I think we would be fine with that, I can cover one of the stars on my flag if it removes a pain in my A$$ like CA.

are you that eager to be rid of what would be, if it were a nation on its own, the eighth largest economy in the world? Despite it's status as a place of wackadoo politics, California is a rather large economic engine for the USA.

check out this article at the blaze, california will try to abolish any attempt at exercising your 2nd amendment rights.

Will California Abolish Open Carry of Firearms? | Video | TheBlaze.com

It might actually be a net-gain for CA gun owners. If CA strips gun owners of all legal means of carrying, the courts might force them to allow CC. I was reading an article about this.

I believe there's a lawsuit pending in Illinois because there is no legal means of carry there.

Been reading the comments. Wow, what a way to digest my morning coffee. Most of the contributors seem to be more focused on the difference between a clip and a mag. With that kind of useless hullabaloo, it's no wonder the state has the upper hand on gun owners. Very few seem to be stepping up with factual, lawful information to to refute.

Cali could not exist on it's own. It is too broke. And too dysfunctional.

I've not seen much good come out of California. It is a funnel for illegals, a paradise for wacko liberal, tree hugging, anti-gun, anti-religion, anti-Constitution blood sucking socialists. Other than that, it is a fine place to test nuclear bombs. Berkley and San Francisco would be excellent testing grounds.

Dude, I'll never stand up for California's society, per se. I'm just not so keen on seeing >10% of the entire US economy go sliding into the sea.

Now, now, this is the kind of overreaction that we need from the antis.

Earlier this year a federal court ruled that because Californians can open carry then prohibited concealed carry is not unconstitutional.

IF the open carry door is shut, then the court must reverse its ruling by its own reasoning.

We should all support banning unloaded open carry as it will get us much, much more.

All fund to bail out California!

    frankly reverend, I'm shocked. :p

No but seriously, the gentleman to whom I was posting mentioned the anti-religious tension which comes from California's less than pious vocal leftist valkyries. I figured the adult film industry wasn't something he was looking for when he said he'd never seen anything good come out of CA. I provided 5 top tier US corporations which produce tangible, and beneficial products.

Don't discount the porn industry. As the porn industry, (and it's internet component) have risen the rate of sexual violence in this country has dropped. Not only do they contribute a significant amount to the bottom line in California (and in federal taxes, too) they've contributed to a drop in sexual violence. Porn is apparently a good thing.

I personally do not discount the porn industry. If a demand for a good or service exists, a supply will be found. No amount of philosophic or theologic bickering will quell that fact. As I said, I simply based the information I presented around what seemed to be the requirements the other poster was looking for. Typically, if someone lists religious hostility as a top 5 reason to not like a people or place something seen as a "sin" is probably not, in their opinion, a beneficial product.

Me personally, I'm all for every industry any American mind can conceive of and bring to fruition which does not harm other people. That most certainly includes porn.

cue the "but porn hurts women because it takes advantage of and objectifies them" schpiel

I have absolutely no problem with CA guns laws. Those laws have grown my collection by leaps and bounds.

When my father-in-law passed away he would have left all his guns to his son. But his son lives in CA. So I got them all. Can't have the Colt AR out there? Great, I guess it's mine now.

I ended up having to buy a safe to store them all.

    :D
