Some buddies and I are going to Perry the first week of August to try our skills at the National Match. We've been doing a fair bit of practicing, and are about as good as we're going to get.

One question for those that have shot the 200yrd Garand Match...what is the diameter of the black bull on the 200yd target? I had heard 9", but wanted to make sure my 200yd zero is correct of a 6 o'clock hold. It may mean a click or so different depending.

    I've been practicing with a 6" bull at 200yds.

blinders are nice. Nothing like stepping up to a firing line with SO MANY other shooters. Can be somewhat intimidating if you haven't shot in that big of a match before.

Is Garand the only match you have signed up for? If so, do you know what relay?

You get 5 sighters from prone, so even un-zeroed rifles can be on pretty quick.
