My wife was messing with my rifle, and somehow she managed to break a pin out of the stock lock. I have searched high and low on the internet and cannot find a mention of this happening let alone how to fix it or what part or where to get it.

I really don't want to replace the entire stock, any ideas?

The pin appeared to be made of plastic and ran through the hole in the picture.

The stock came factory on the Colt LE6920.

Check Midwayusa website. They advertise they have 2000+ gun schematics available for free downloads. If nothing else, you may be able to identify your part.

Brownell's has a lot of small misc parts as well. Shipping from them costs a lot if you just need 1 little piece, but might be a good place to look.

Thanks everyone for the help. I am going to contact Colt and Rogers to see what they will do. In the mean time I went to Menards and grabbed a "tension pin" 1/8 x 1. It fits really well and I think it will actually hold up better than the plastic one... 29 cents!

I love my local Sullivan's Hardware! They have hundreds of little drawers with pins, nuts, bolts, screws, washers, etc, etc that I poke through to find small parts I need. Usually all are just a bit of pocket change. :yesway:

Nice fix! Now all you need to do is purchase a bunch of them, mark 'em up 1000% and sell 'em online. Boom. You're in business.
