can't decide

looking to get a new gun soon will mainly be used for coyote hunting can't decide between a ar or a bolt gun in 22-250. not to sure i want a 204 ruger here they are nice but have always like 22-250 better. i do not own a ar so i am leaning to a ar. but just not sure witch way to go? thanks for any input

What's the budget for the scope?
What range (distance) are you going to be shooting at?
Do you shoot a bolt now?
Do you have a favorite rifle manufacturer?

I'd say for coyote hunting the 22-250 would be best.....I've used my M1 carbine for it before, but I prefer a bolt gun's accuracy

budget is about a grand shoot a bolt 25-06 but buddy is buying that gun from me.
