O.K. I know I'm good to carry in Ky. But we are going on a fishing trip end of month. My question is.. am I still good to carry on the water in our boat? We will be fishing kentucky lake, Jonhathon Creek area. I'm wondering if that come's under their DNR control. I will pocket carry for most part till we get back to our cabin. Thanks

Just dont take any dynamite... If you do, make sure you hand one to the warden.

Don't fish on Kentucky Lake with a gun. TVA waters are off limits.

Edit: I stated that, and now it looks like it may have changed. I can't find a definitive source yet.

TVA Lakes are ACoE controlled, so no carry.

Let me be the first to send condolences on the loss of all your firearms in the tragic boating incident in Kentucky. :)

What? Is that not where this is going?

I have never NOT carried on Kentucky waters and have never caught so much as a cross glance from DFW officers. Of course, that has nothing to do with what the law says and how it may be interpreted on any given day by any given law enforcement officer. Being Kentucky though, I would not be one bit surprised to see a crew of these hillbillies bass fishing out of a SWCC boat and the game warden pulling up to see if they were having any luck!
