I have heard recently from a few friends of mine that some new legislation has passed and that it is illegal for a place of employment to ban a person from keeping a legal firearm locked in their car while at work? I usually leave mine in my car anyways, but it would be nice to know if this is true.

He kind of did, just not with some many words.

Allow me to elaborate: It was a bill that was proposed. It was never made a law, however. The Senate passed the bill, meaning the House had to receive their version, see if they agreed with it, and then vote on it. However, it did not even get to make it that far in the House. It got swallowed in committee, I believe, and therefore didn't even make it to voting.

That's why he sent the link, it's a good video. Explains the process, and you can see exactly where the bill died in the legislative process.

Kirk is just mad, and rightfully so, excuse his lack of many words.
