Just run faster and wear less clothing. I've never been hassled when I'm just wearing short shorts. They can see there's nothing to steal. And nobody wants to snatch a smelly, sweaty, half naked man.
In the woods, I'm normally running with a pack since I go for a long way. Pretty easy to throw an lcp in a pack.
I will carry a little 380 in my shorts pocket. I don't ever have any issue with it but I know that there are better options too. A guy I know wears jogging shorts that hold tight and keeps on in a zip pocket, another wears jogging pants and puts on on his ankle in a galco ankle glove I believe.
there is no better option than the hill people gear bags. they are amazing. they stay stable and allow you to access your firearm quickly. very multipurpose to as you can use them when you carry a ruck or pack. they snap right in. then your pistol is off you waist so you can utilize your hip straps also. and it keeps all needed items right where you can access them easily.
That's the only thing I've found that will stay tight enough against my body to keep it from bouncing all over the place. I've not used a belly band because I usually run shirtless when weather permits.
I also carry an inexpensive Kershaw assisted opening knife inside the waistband of my running shorts.
Hopefully that helps a little. Figuring out how to run armed can be tricky.
No kidding. If I wear the same clothing for a second run without washing, my Under Armours should probably require a LTCH, Hazmat Certificate, or both. I never have to change sides of the street, because they clear a path for me regardless which way the wind is blowing.
(* Doesn't seem to work on dogs, though...I smell like something they'd want to roll around in ).
I think this will eventually lead to the idea of a "Seinfeld gun" in the used market (ie, smell it before you buy it).
