Makes me rethink buying the ones on the WISH app. I was looking at them because they have them for $8 compared to us made ones for $50

I have some of both. And it is for sure a true statement to consider the SOF-T over the CAT because of the windlass alone. The metal stick will not bend or break.

The SOF-T does the exact same job, costs about the same (unless you are buying your CATs in lots on Ebay from some address outside Fort Bliss or Ft. Campbell...cough, cough) and is equally effective. You can't go wrong.
