    I've noticed that the .goc is taking this 'preparedness' thing a little more seriously lately. I saw billboards for Ready.org on 465 the other day.

    Ready.gov - Prepare. Plan. Stay Informed.

    Are they starting to realize that:
    a) saving us isn't really their responsibility, and
    b) they don't really have the means to do it anyway?

    Either that, or they know something they aren't telling us :tinfoil:

    Well, in the event of a zombie apocalypse, I'm heading to the CDC in Atlanta, and there better be more than one guy and a thermobaric bomb there when I get there.

    I KNEW IT! :rockwoot::rockwoot::rockwoot::rockwoot:

    Finally the CDC has caught on. Now, who's up for making a zombie specific training company and going for some federal subsidization now? ;)

    CDC Warns Public to Prepare for 'Zombie Apocalypse' - FoxNews.com

    The CDC is leading everyone astray... Their preps suggestions say nothing about stockpiling munitions (or anything related to weapons at all). Instead they imply you should wait until the government comes and puts us all in isolation/quarantine based on living and undead.

    The only plus is that they do mention making sure you have contact information for your local ZRT.

    Is this a good enough excuse for a new shot gun?

    I think it almost justifies paying the 1k for a converted Saiga 12 (so long as you can get it by sunrise tomorrow. Surely CDC publishing the Zombie Apocalypse info and the folks at Family Radio calling for the Rapture this weekend isn't just a cowinkydink...
