Got some pictures. You can see that one side of the stock is wrapped less than the other. That is because if I wrapped too far on the right side, it would engage the safety lever every time I folded the stock.
I figured I would use that particular wrap style because I have done knife handles that way before, and it has worked very well for that particular case. It seems to do the trick here, as well.
