I recently purchased a Glock 19 gen4 in fde, and later find out the frame is not actually fde polymer, but ceracoated. I was intending to stipple it for a better grip, however I'm sure if I do it will look like a garbage mix of black and burnt brown in the texture. So, my question is, if I were to dremel off the ceracoat on the area I want to stipple, would it turn out in a nice two tone (black where stippled and fde where not stippled)? Or, would I just end up ruining my frame and turning it into a mess? Any input would be much appreciated. Also, any other ways to remove the ceracoat precisely w/o ruining the frame? Looking to do all work in house so to speak.
Thanks!
