My name or address has changed. Do I have to pay for a duplicate license?

No. Complete the “Duplicate Handgun License Request and Notification of Name or
Address Change Form” and mail or fax the form to the firearms section. Check that you
are notifying the section of your information change only. The change will be made in
the firearms database and there is no fee for this service. If you want a license issued
with the changes on it, then yes, the $20 fee for the duplicate license does apply

I'd like to add, if it were me, I'd mail in my change of address, and send it certified. Then wait a few days, and call and verify that is has been changed.

When I moved all I did was e-mail the ISP via the IN.gov website...click on firearms licensing 'contact us'...I told them of my address change and they responded very promptly thanking me for the notification.

Been waiting for my new pink since Dec.
I'll have to call this week and see what's going on.

my understanding is you won't be sent a new pink slip just because you notify COA. Only if you request a new one and pay the fee.

Make sure you do it, IIRC it is a class B misdemeanor not to. Up to 180 days in the can, up to $1000 fine and a conviction isn't worth it.

Change address or get the new slip? As I read it, that penalty pertains to failure to notify...

I sent in my COA with payment for a updated copy on December 14th, just got it back in the mail last week. It has the new address and "DUPLICATE" printed on it.

I did call them about 7 days prior to receiving it; the nice lady verified that they had indeed received it, but that it was taking longer for two reasons:
    1. They're backed up.
    2. I sent it to the PO box instead of the physical address. She even went so far as to tell me that next time I should NOT send it to the PO box, because they only get picked up every few days :dunno:
