IU is adding metal detectors and implementing a clear bag policy for Football and Basketball this year.

The real question is: Are they legally allowed to do this?

Or are the venues being "rented" by the NCAA and the NCAA is setting these rules? (Like a gun-show operator renting a facility and not allowing firearms be carried within)
