    And if you trim the shrubbery it'll make your deck look bigger too. :):

    I've got a really big deck; when I was buying the lumber for it, there was a contractor there with a shirt that said "Deck size matters". I just smiled and said "yeah".

    It is really not all about the size of the deck. I think it is more about the quality of the wood. Quality wood last alot longer. The funny thing is I can't get my wife to set on it more than an hour at a time and maybe ounce a month. No elevated Deck though for me because after 4 hours I didn't want to see a doctor.
