Up for sale is my Chinese M38 Mosin Nagant. It is the only one in the M38 configuration that I have ever seen, the vast majority are M44s. Sadly I didn't get ahold of it before bubba hacksaw-raped the stock. The action is pretty much untouched though, thank god. The bore is not counter-bored but is somewhat pitted. It passes the bullet test easily, with solid lands and grooves; so it hasn't been shot much. Easily a solid shooter. The action on this one is particularly smooth; I shot around 150rds of various types of ammo through it and this one is damn easy to cycle. Overall a great little gun. Numbers do not match. The rear sight was replaced with a Mojo Microcklick peep sight and the action screws were replaced with Rock Solid Industries allen key screws. I am asking $175 for it.
