I have a 1955 chinese t53. It's the same thing as an M44. I refinished the stock when i got it because the previous owner refinished it and did a horrible job. I have put about 50 rounds through it and the bolt is suprisingly smooth. The only thing that doesnt match the rest of the gun is the magazine floorplate. It has the cleaning kit and sling with it.
I saw one on another website for $155 and it was in terrible shape. I'm asking $175 for this one FTF in Indianapolis. I will ask to see LTCH so I know your'e legal but I wont record anything.
Now that I looked at it I guess the bolt does not match the receiver. But it is smooth and shoots good.
Edit: Not Counterbored. This is the best picture i can get of the rifling.
