Bark River 'BRAVO'....... in jade green

Perfect blade shape, IMHO. And the best 'balanced' knife I've owned, that will keep an edge.

I don't have any high dollar knives like most of you, but I am looking forward to picking up a couple.
Right now my favorite is an old Bowie that I've had for years. It's been my camping companion, for splitting watermelons, kindling, and just about anything else that has ever needed cut, chopped, or beat on!

Thanks for the contest, very generous of you!

Edit: send me your address so I can get a big bunch of stuffed animals to your daughter!:D

My favorite is an old Buck Hunter series knife.

My real father was never really a dad and divorced my mom when I was 4. I don't really remember him being around too much but what I do remember is my mother meeting my step dad. I won't get into too many details but he began teaching me to hunt. In his family, hunting was a tradition and you had to earn your right of passage. For 2 years I lumbered around the woods after him.During the second year, I carried his weapon and was able to take a few shots during squirrel season. On the last day of the season, as the sun came up, he handed me his Marlin model 60 with a squirrel in the stock and a brand new folding Buck Hunter and told me to enjoy the hunt.

He smiled, patted my back as I hugged him and walked back to the truck.

I carried that knife for as long as I can remember. Sometimes I think about buying another just to sit in the safe but I never actually choose to.

Both the knife and the rifle were stolen from my friends house while I was on deployment.I will have both back before my son is old enough to hunt.

and as a second winner, this one too.
