The method I use to determine the correct lubrication is, if it is wet enough to see a fingerprint, I do not run them dripping wet, and I have found Shooters Choice FP-10 to be very good. Some people I have talked to use Shooters Choice grease, sold in a syringe type tube, I have not tried it, what I use has been just fine, I have also used break-free in the same manner.
