Colt Lady Derringer question

A friend of mine came into a Colt Derringer which I was told may be a Colt Lady Derringer. Its gold in color with pearl grips. It is a 22 Short. On the left side of is

Colts P.F.A
MFG CO INC
HTFD CT USA
25009XXX

She is looking to sell it becasue she has no use for it. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the year of manufacture and how much it would be worth. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm just dipping my toes into the Colt pool, so I am no expert. But, I'm pretty sure that if you contact Colt's customer service department they will give you the date it was manufactured. Fire up the google machine and get their phone number and they should be able to help you out.
