Colt MK IV Officers Series 80 Stainless.... Buy?

I was looking at the Colt Series 80 in Officer size yesterday. Kinda like it. $600 what is the general opinion on this gun? I only know what I've read in the Internet about it. Is it a good buy? Thanks!

It is a fine gun. Condition and extra mags, NS etc , will help or hurt price. What comes with it? Good Luck

I'll race Jarhead at that price! A stainless Series 80 Officer's Model for $600 wouldn't last five minutes in any of my local shops. I'd expect to see it priced $2-300 higher, unfortunately.

Hey Wilson380AR, ghostdncr is right! But still that's not bad since they went for $450 back in the early 90s, but thats the cost of "all things involved"! You like it, try to make your best deal (cash) and leave with it bud...

I have that same gun and love it. It is the pistol that I carry the most. $600 I would jump all over it.

Pulled mine out of the safe last month and put 100 rds downrange for old times sake. Great grouping, pleasure to shoot. Snatch it up!

I don't think it would last long in gun stores around me either. They are a good gun I owned one in the past and loved it. Used as a trade in at the local gun store for a custom shop gun.

Agreed that that is a good deal. I had an Officers Enhanced model in the 1990's and it was a great carry pistol.

600 is a no brainer IMHO. I would do it today.

I've got one in Stainless. Bought it new in the early 80's. Sounds like a steal. I hope mine is worth considerably more.
