Recently I just saw one for the first time, up until then I had no idea these existed. To my knowledge they were 8” barreled pythons chambered in 38 special and then they changed the barrel to a 3” and honed it to 357 mag. Also from what I understand they only made 200 that were blued and 50 that were nickel plated. I’m curious to know if anyone can shed some light on these. Also what would these be valued at? I dug as much as I could but nothing really comes up for these

    Between SB and FT.W
    Pacific International did the conversions.
Value would depend on condition and if the faux wood box was with it.
$3-6k most likely. Who knows. ..maybe more!
Those Colts are getting stupid $

I would be very cautious buying one. Sarco sold a poop load of 3 inch Python barrels about a 10-15 years ago. In this day and age I would contact Colt as to originality of any sub 8 inch Python. (money goes up as the barrel goes shorter)
