Colt Rifle - information Appreciated.

Here is an old Colt Rifle that has been in the same family for a long time. The owner tells me that supposedly Colt never made a rifle, but clearly this would make it seem like they did.

Looks like a Colt Colteer I22 a 22lr or 22 Magnum single shot in a plain stock with a 20"barrel. Approximately 50,000 manufactured from 1957 to 1966.

I appreciate it. Looks like they aren't worth much, which is surprising since they are somewhat hard to find. It really is a fun fun to shoot though.

The rifle in the picture looks like it will clean up well. In the condition shown I would guess that it is worth $150 or more. If you can purchase it for a good price and it is in good condition it would be a good 22 to have.

it is a colt colteer my dad has one if i remember my figures they made 25000 single shots and like 20000 with a magazine.i have shot it all my life and they are pretty accurate.they were made in the early 70's. they are not worth a lot of money
