1. Wow! you just made my day!
2. Just got back from the range with it, which I'll post on my range thread for .22LRs.
3. It didn't do any better than my Browning Buckmark and another S/W 22A I picked up, but that's another story.
4. But, since I'm on my own thread about a .22, I might as well tell it.
5. I'll put pics of the Colt Target when I take them, and I have range pics, but nothing impressive compared to what I have.
6. The seller, a great guy, was going to bring another .22 to tempt me with so after buying the Colt.
7. He had a S/W 22A with gigantic grips on it and gave me a price I couldn't say no to even though I already have a S/W 22A.
8. I would tell you the price but I get "barked" at for that, which is too bad b/c that is the fun part, whether you pay too much b/c you really wanted something or got a deal on it so good you couldn't say "no" which is what this was. It was advertised for sale, but I'm trying to be cautious, which is the reason I never mention anyone's name that I buy or sell from anymore since that is some kind of secret even though it is online in classifieds, or perhaps in Armslist.
9. Some quick pics:
20' with the Colt Target, S/W 22A and the Browning Buckmark:
40' (shot first) with the above guns with some others for comparison:
Since I mentioned the S/W 22A cameo here is those pics.
I already have another S/W 22A, so I can't justify this one except it had a HUGE handle on it, ha!
Easy to take down and clean/lube which I appreciate.
i had one of the 4" models i bought new for $200 back in '97 or so. added a weigand mount and a tasco dot for bowling pin shooting. it ran flawlessly with the cheapest ammo i could find !
i miss that little pistol
