I just wonder what would be a good small 9mm for a smallish female?
Hate to dabble in yet another caliber, but a .380 is looking better all the time...

Any time my husband wants to surprise me with a new gun - I accept! While it might not be what I would choose, I would never turn it down. (Just me I guess.)

    :) I love surprises !!

Having said that, my personal favorite is the Ruger SR9C I bought for myself. Love the size and feel!

What holster have you used with the 9c?

I thought for sure that I wanted to carry a .380. I thought that I would love the small size and that we would be great together! Then I shot one, I hated it! It is a lot harder to control and harder to aim and use due to the small build. After I shot that, I shot my dad's smith and wesson 9mm! I loved it! I decided that a 9mm would be best for me. I ended up getting a Ruger SR9c. Low recoil and is easy to rack. It is also a really great size!

    Just my opinion!

That helps. I almost bought an SR9c but got the LC9
instead. Great for me but my lil' Girl might not like it.
We have 4-5 options for her to try out!!! Then buy her
a suitable carry weapon all her own...
