Compact stocks for Savage rifles.

Anyone have any advice trying to find a second hand compact stock for a short action Savage? Wanting to stick one one a rifle to for my kids to use. I haven’t had any luck with gun broker, eBay, or google...

I'd see if you can find a factory take-off and cut it down yourself. I know people who do this with 10/22's.

Also, what model Savage?

The action started off life as a 12fv 22-250, gonna stick a .243 barrel on it.
