Conceal carry at old national center downtown?

I'm going to see Rodney carrington this evening at the old national center and was wondering about carrying there? We're going to be eating at Bakersfield on mass ave and then walking to old nat center. Don't want to do that without carrying. I'm the dd for the group tonight so that won't be an issue. Any input would be appreciated.

I went for a concert last month. I didn't carry because I wasn't sure about security, but I could have easily carried. No security checks, pat downs or wands.

Depends on the show. You'll get a good pat down for Slayer or JamBand shows. Mostly feeling pockets looking for drugs. I can't imagine you would get felt up at a comedy show, but you never know. If they find it you'll have to go back to your car.
