    You know the old saw "there's never a cop when you need one"? Well, be careful of what you want.

    Man fleeing robbers, allegedly runs stop sign, government agents take $228.00 from him.:laugh:

    Maybe there was collusion? Robbers chasing citizens into the hands of the police? Hammer and anvil? What the robbers don't take, the government will.

    I think that calls for a jury trial on an infraction. Maybe subpoena the robbers as witnesses?:D

    Not enough info in the report, he prob just ran the stop sign.

    More to the story. I'd like to see the distance between where the robbery occurred and where the stop sign is. Oh and time of delay. Still a dik move.

    Some officers are good people, some are revenue collectors with a badge. Guess it just all depends on who see's you doing what.

    It would certainly be a kick in the nads for this guy, if this is true and is allowed to stand. I bet LEO's have heard it all--I wonder how many armed robbery victims they run across during their traffic stops.
