    Sure it has. It's happened quite often, just not recently. Please don't forget that Franklin D. Roosevelt got elected President four times and Ronald Reagan won both his elections in electoral landslides. It does happen, it's just that neither party has often raised up someone of that caliber.

    Recently is all that matters. I can't vote for Reagan in 1980 again.

    Yes. I proudly voted for Ron Paul in the primary. But I will be voting for Mitt in the general. I hope Rep. Paul does not run 3rd party. All it does is hand Obama the election on a silver platter. And say what you want about Mitt, he's far and away better than Obama.
