Now the real question is, did she purposely carry the gun in that condition, or did she somehow pull off one of those patented (and wholly imaginary) Steven Segal ultra ninja, weapon disassembly moves and make those internal parts disappear, like the charges did?

Free press coverage (advertising), name recognition for the ballot, tip of the hat to the Second Amendment for her Republicans homeys on the hypocrisy of the whole NYC permit and protest clause, stands up for Israel , makes the charging prosecutors look like buffoons, charges are unenforceable and walks away smelling like a rose.
