Court Declares Newspaper Excerpt on Online Forum is a Non-Infringing Fair Use

The court cases against RightHaven continue to surprise. Even as the company is being dismantled the courts are ruling in favour of people and forums on the internet. Soon it will be safe to once again excerpt and quote parts of articles as Fair Use and not have to fear being sued by a copyright troll. This latest case is sheer relief for forums, bloggers and writers on the web and proof that some judges DO actually get it, every now and again.
