This is some footage of Jayhawker and Bob Ed Pain going for 1st and 2nd place one of the matches at the Virgil Earp Shoot in Hartford, Kentucky this past weekend. Bob Ed Pain came in 8th at the World Championship this year but is defended by Jayhawker in this match and ultimately place 2nd with Jayhawker finishing 1st. This is a sport of accuracy and speed but is weighed toward accuracy. If any one would like the join the Bluegrass Fast Draw Club, send me a message. We have about 40 members now from several different states. It is one of the most fun things you can do with your clothes on.

You must have a period single action revolver from 1873 to 1899 such as a Colt Peacemaker or modern clone like a Uberti Cattleman or a Ruger New Vaquero. It must be chambered for the .45lc. You must have a Mexican loop holster which meets CFDA rules. Most matches are shot with wax bullets which are propelled by a shotgun primer. To see more rules go to www.cowboyfastdraw.com
