As I was channel-surfing last night I caught a bit on the news about the latest release of FBI crime data. They were going on about how much various crimes had dropped this past year.
I was waiting for them to come up with a REASON as to why it dropped. I wanted to see what the media thought of the decline. THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY IDEAS! NOT ONE!
If crime had risen, they would have been talking "GUNS CAUSE VIOLENCE!", but they acted like they had no clue what to say.
Even funnier, after they talked about the numbers coming down, they said "even after there were 7 murders in DC just this weekend alone". My wife laughed because I was yelling at the TV.
No guns in DC = more murders
Growing CCW acceptance = lower crime rates nationwide
