I get bogo free coupons once a month for the double butter burger, mud slide and sundaes. Sadly, (luckily) I have no one to share the free ones with. Only thing I've had from them that I didn't care for was the tenderloin.

Just avoid the Walleye when they have it. I have never ever ever EVER eaten greasier fish than the 3x in two different locations over the past 4 years. It arrives at your table SOAKED with oil.

Went there 1 time it was years ago ordered the Walleye, haven't been back since.:noway:

    ya, it was THAT bad.

    Fryer grease ≠ fish oil.

EXACTLY. My bet is they dont keep the fryer turned up enough. Normally the escaping steam creates outward pressure to prevent the oil from penetrating the meat or breading. If its not hot enough it gets past the batter and hangs out in the fish until you bite down. ugh.

Great service across the board. I used to travel throughout the upper Midwest (lots of Culvers) and NEVER had a surly teenager or grumpy adult unlike what is common with most fast-serve type restaurants.

when I lived in Wisconsin this was my favorite place to eat. I moved here and BAM! it was gone... no more Culvers... But FINALLY, Indiana is getting them here! Honestly though, the cheese curds are not quite as good here as Wisconsin. But yeah Culvers is great.

but I do like their custard.

Me too and the bill for the wife and I came too $31.00. I should have taken out a second mortgage. I will not return.
