Current state of waste management

I have trash service, but did not opt for recycling.
Twice a month I sort and take a load into the community recycling center. Not something I enjoy, but I always have thought it was better than it going to the landfill.

My recycling program is more of a jobs program. I drive down the road, throwing out beer cans, thereby providing employment to the guys that go around collecting cans to trade for cash. Win-Win, I get a buzz, and provide employment for someone else

Are those Nobel guys pestering you for an interview, too?

Steel and aluminum are some of the most recyclable materials on the planet.
And, we do it right here.

Don't need China for recycling it.
