I've made a few for myself and my heterosexual life partner. Just started this year and haven't got into the whole stamping aspect of it yet but I'm very interested in testing it out. Any expert advice?

YouTube can teach you a lot. I use a Tippman Boss manual leather sewing machine...beats hand stitching by a long-shot. If you want to do hand stitching tho', a stitching pony makes big difference.
For stamping, I wet the leather really well. Tilt the stamp a bit in all four directions as you strike it to get a good impression.
    good luck!
