CZ75 P01 and PCR D widths - what the?!

Hey all,

Looking at getting a 9mm - either a CZ75 P01 or PCR D (preferably PCR). Can anyone verify the width of the pistol? The specs I've seen say 1.4 inches and I was a little alarmed at that - that's awfully wide! Does that include the safety or decock levers? My Steyr's wide enough at 1.18 inches (around the same width as a Glock 19). I'm trying to find something that doesn't have much of an imprint under clothing.

Yes, the 1.4" includes the Safeties.

The actual frame width is only 1.010" Width at the grips will vary depending on what grips you've got on there, but it's in the 1.2" ballpark.

Rob, I'm actually looking strongly at a PCR myself you'll be happy to know. I like being able to dress up non-tupperware guns with fancy grips.

I've been thinking hard about getting a 75 SP-01, and I've fondled one quite a bit. 1.4" wide seems right, they are a tad bulky, but feel amazing. Don't be turned off by the width, they're great, comfortable, pistols.

Thanks guys! I got to see a CZ P-07 today but I wasn't very keen on it. The guy really wanted me to buy one but and I have to say it's nice and light but it's too much like my Steyr and that squared-off trigger guard throws me off....it just makes me want to club someone with it.

PCR D or P-01 it is.

Yup. Never see any at shows. Never see them at gun shops.

Would like to fondle the PCR.
