I've finally managed to settle my job life down enough to breathe. Got my first full quarterly bonus, and since my savings is already replenished (and then some), decided to splurge on something I've always wanted to do, which is take one of these...

...so that I could run my D&D game in style:

That is actually a REALLY good idea... what software was used for the maps?

Using MapTool, which is cross-platform (Windows/OSX):

RPTools - MapTool

Map images are pulled from Paizo's Interactive Maps for Rise of the Runelords, which is what we're playing through:

Maps are visible in full light, but dim the lights a bit and it just looks killer.

Thanks man... I think I'm going to point this out to some of my old D&D buddies... I'll mention that I saw it from a guy online (my friends are geeks and would faint at the thought of a gun board) but I'll give you as much credit as I can.. lol
